Ella Moore was born and raised in southern Ontario, Canada. Being biracial, Ella realized as a young girl that one side of her race was always represented in books, TV shows and the movies she watched; yet the other side of her race was limited in representation. This perspective inspired her to write a novel where her community would be represented. On top of a vivid imagination of what it would be like to have the power of the Earth's elements, her first book Elements Of The Earth was born. Besides finishing her undergraduate degree in Global Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, Ella still spends her time in Ontario reading as many books as she can.
